Six Fried Rice (SFR) is owned and operated by Geoff Coffey and Jesse Antunes, two of the most accomplished FileMaker Pro developers around. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, SFR has customers all around the world. Our mission is to provide the greatest FileMaker Pro training and services on earth to exceptionally happy customers.

Geoff Coffey
Geoff Coffey is coauthor of the popular FileMaker Pro 9: The Missing Manual, a best selling book for FileMaker developers published by O’Reilly Media. As an instructor with FMPtraining.com Geoff has taught hundreds of students how to make the most of FileMaker Pro. He is a technical editor and contributor to FileMaker Advisor Basics magazine and has written training materials for FileMaker Inc.
When not finding ways to teach other developers, Geoff also loves doing real FileMaker work, and specializes in web application development. He built his first database-connected dynamic web site in 1994 using FileMaker Pro and Applescript. Since then, Geoff has created production web systems in just about everything out there from perl CGI to Cold Fusion to JEE, but his current favorite for small-to-mid-size sites is Ruby on Rails.
Although he has an MBA from Arizona State University and a degree in Computer Science from Northern Arizona University, FileMaker Pro is his first true love. This is a fact disputed by his wife of 14 years, with whom he has two practically-perfect children, Isabel (10) and Sophia (6).

Jesse Antunes
Jesse Antunes is a certified FileMaker Pro expert with an exceptionally broad skill set. Equally comfortable with Java, SQL, Perl, and Ruby, Jesse is an integration wizard. He could probably make FileMaker talk seamlessly to your garden hose if you hired us to find out. He’s been using FileMaker for only two short years, a fact which belies his depth of skill and knowledge. He’s never one to back down from a thousand-line script, a recursive custom function, or a problem that’s left everyone else stumped. Needless to say, he’s the kind of developer you want in your corner if you care about finding the best possible solution quickly.
When he’s not wrestling FileMaker into submission, Jesse spends his free time traveling with his S.O., Kayla (he’s got family in Brazil and a condo in Mexico), playing XBox Live with his nerdier friends, and making excuses for not working out. He’s currently pursuing a Computer Science degree from Arizona State University, but seriously…he doesn’t need any more learnin’.

The Six Fried Rice Team
In addition to our co-owners, Six Fried Rice has a handful of outstanding full-time employees, with a great diversity of engineering expertise.
Daniel Antunes
Daniel started with SFR in January, 2008. In addition to FileMaker Pro prowess, Daniel also has top-notch expertise with Windows and Mac OS X system administration. His skills have proven invaluable to our customers, whether they’re struggling with a Cisco router, or need to set up external authentication with Active Directory.
When he’s not buried waist-deep in FileMaker code, Daniel spends his time sipping coffee and making friends at a local privately owned gourmet coffee shop. We dig this passion of his, because he finds a lot of business among his fellow customers.
Brian Samson
Brian Samson (aka “Samson” — nobody calls him Brian but his Mom) is one of the most capable web application developers we’ve ever had the fortune of working with. He has an exceptional depth of experience with Java, JEE, and web server technologies. Brian is the kind of guy who can write the code on Monday, set up the server on Tuesday, and troubleshoot mod_jk in between. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and has loads of experience building embedded applications for the mobile market, which we think is crazy cool these days.
Outside the office, Brian spends his time with MB, his girlfriend of 8 years fiancĂ©e (Congratulations to both of you!). He’s a gourmet chef, a music fan, and fancies himself a hacker. If you ever bump in to him, and have the time, ask him about the school bus that wasn’t. That’s all I’m sayin’ on that topic.
